It was way too late for me to stop Phoenix from fully entering the house. Hell, Paula had already opened the door and invited him in.

Myles looked at me and I shrugged.“What?”

“Is Eternitee still seeing that nigga too?”

“No, but she hasn’t had a chance to break it off with him officially,” I answered truthfully.

He shook his head and waited for the outcome of the situation at hand.I just prayed that it didn’t get ugly.

“Here she comes,” I whispered as we watched Eternitee near us.

Feeling the tension right away, I got up and eased to my bedroomto retrieve my gun. I wasn’t sure if I would need it, but it was better to be safe than sorry.

When I came back into the family room, Phoenix was beginning to question my sister. He wanted to know why she hadn’t called him.

“Well, we hadn’t been seeing eye to eye so I thought we needed a break,” Eternitee stuttered.

“A break?When the fuck were you gonna tell me?”

“Eternitee?”

Suddenly Ruga began yelling out for my sister. Her face turned red as a beat as she just stood there without responding.

“Who the fuck is that?” Phoenix questioned bringing his body to full attention.

“Eternitee, baby could you bring me a bottled water when you come back up here please?” Ruga yelled out.

“Yeah, give me a minute,” she hollered back.

“Nah, let’s go take him that shit right now,” Phoenix suggested as he walked in my sister’s personal space.

“Hey, Phoenix please don’t bring nomess up in here,” I warned with one raised brow.

I prayed that was enough to let him know that I wouldn’t hesitate to pop a hot one in his ass. He knew that we both had guns so he should have known better to test us.

“Don’t worry, I’m not Akerya.” Phoenix smirked.“The mess was already here!”

All of a sudden Phoenix and Eternitee began going back and forth in a verbal match. Once their tone elevated, Ruga came running down the stairs.

“What the fuck is going on?” Ruga rushed in front of my sister and got in Phoenix’s face.“We got a problem nigga?”

Eternitee went to grab Ruga and Phoenix snatched her hand and stared at the ring. “Aint this abitch?”

“Nigga this is my girl. I don’t know what you and herhad before all this shit, but that shits history!”

“Yeah, I see that shit now,” Phoenix huffed in defeat.

I felt so sorry for him but I didn’t want to get in the middle of it. Eternitee knew she was in love with him. I didn’t understand why she just wouldn’t come clean about her feelings.

“I should just fuck you up!” Phoenix threatened as he lunged towards Eternitee.“You lucky I don’t hit women or you would be touching everything up in here right now!”

Ruga bucked up at the wrong time. Soon as he did, Phoenix knocked him the fuck out.

“Damn, why did you do that?” Paula screamed hysterically as she rushed over to Ruga on the floor.“Someone help him!”

Eternitee gave Phoenix the look of death then shook her head.“Leave, please…”

“I’m gone, but we’re gonna talk.
